The most popular way to make money online is through blogging, period. No other method of making money is used by more people.

What exactly is a blog, though? Depending on the author, a blog can range from an online diary or journal to a "how-to" site to a celebrity fan-site. In other words, there is no limit to what kind of website a blog can be. Best of all, you can make a blog online for free using many sources such as blogger and other social media websites.

But how do you use your blog to make money? The answer is quite simpler than you think.

First, you must make sure that you update your blog frequently. Why? Because the more information/pages that your blog has, the more people will come to visit your site. In order to make money through blogging, you must understand that you must have a lot of people visiting your site daily in order for you to make any money at all.

You see, to make money by blogging you must have a blog (obviously) and then you use that blog to advertise other websites. Every time someone clicks on the ads on your site, you make money.

Okay, I know this may sound like it's hard to do, but it's actually quite simple. All you have to do is sign up with Google's Adsense program.

Once you sign up for Adsense, which is free, they will give you a code that you can put onto your site and vuala! there are ads all over your site, and once people start clicking on these ads you make money! Be careful, though, don't click on your own ads or else you will be banned from the program!

The chance of someone clicking on an ad on your site is only 2%, so that's why you need a lot of people coming to your blog for you to make a serious amount of money through this. It's worth your time, though, to try to make a living through blogging. Some people make up to $8,000 a month and more by advertising on their blogs and websites. I am NOT encouraging that you quit your day job, however, to work on your blog/website. This should be something that you work on maybe one hour each day...if you do this for a year then the cash will start flowing in.
